Clearly I was wrong:
I had no idea that Rachel had gone to nap time with 2 highlighters and a marker! When I got her up I found her arms were colored purple. Realizing she had heavy duty coloring instruments I checked the room. Rachel had drawn a mural on the sides of both bookshelves. She had colored her sister's bed and the wall.
I felt like I was photographing a crime scene!
I realized later that Rachel had also colored her legs from hip to foot - both underneath and the tops of her feet. The kids might as well been purple from head to toe!!
From now on I'm checking these girls before they go down...

oh my gosh. they really did a number on the bedroom. recently, my son got into my daughter's markers and colored about a 4'X2' area of our brand new area rug. It's washable marker, but we still haven't had the chance to see if we can get it out. good luck with your new artwork :)
