My favorite ride that I got to ride once. I know, I'm sad too but it's so hard to juggle an 11-year-old who can ride everything; a 7-year-old who wants to ride everything but can't yet and three 4-year-olds who can only ride the small kid rides.
Isn't this drop awesome?! I LOVE the Superman ride. Only ride better (that I've been on thus far) is the Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion.
I think this was the kids favorite ride - well the little ones anyway though the big kids found it surprisingly fun.
I took Kaitlyn on the Joker. Had to take her almost kicking and screaming. Up until the ride started she was trying to talk me into letting her off but I knew she'd be okay and she was. Halfway through the ride she yells "I love you mom! This is awesome!" Can't get any better than that :)
My big 11-year-old looking so proud at surviving the ride behind her!
Her second favorite rides are the wooden coasters. She and Caleb really enjoy going on these. Dad takes them to the wooden ones - I just can't handle them - way to much shaking for me. Guess that means I'm getting old.
Here's Kirk taking the kids to get wet. Alyssa especially liked getting soaked - a lot. Seemed she didn't even want to get dry. Not sure if you can see her face here but she is LOVING this ride. Kirk on the other hand lost his hat. It flew right off his head as the ride came down. Funny thing it was his Superman hat. Probably should have lost it on the Superman ride instead.
Most of our day was spent in the Thomas the Train Engine kids section. The kids got to enjoy rides like a train:
Helicopter:
Hot air balloons:
And a bus that goes in circles:
You know that looks like fun!!
All in all we had a great day and we didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do. Our day there always seems to end too soon and we're already looking forward to next year. Though I think next year we'll give the water park a try. That and Six Flags is adding a new ride. Can't wait for that either :)
