Flying High

Finally got some pictures off my dad's camera (mine is with Kirk in Virginia) - and I have some great shots of the kids flying high.

From top to bottom: Kaitlyn, Caleb, Julianna, Rachel and Alyssa. As you can see these were all taken when Kirk was here - mom can't throw anywhere near that high!

And my girl's being goofy:

Alyssa totally makes me laugh with this look - she loves it though!

They all think they're "movie stars" though they have no idea what that means :)

Take note - they aren't dressed the same all the time any longer! For summer it's often easier to just grab whatever and get them dressed. Of course, this often leads to strange requests and fights. They are now old enough to care what they wear which is sometimes cute and often times frustrating but mostly when it comes to pajamas because they find a pair that they really want to wear but it will be like 2 in the afternoon - then they spend the rest of the day begging me to take a shower so they can change! It would be funnier if they weren't seriously crying about it.

your pool is covered? wow. i have never seen anything like that before. is it loud inside the covered area ? does it keep out the UV rays or what?

They DO have star quality! :)

The covering is mostly just screen. It keeps the bugs (There's lots of those in FL) and leaves out.

It does provide some minimal sun coverage too, but we still put sunscreen on the kids when they go in the pool.

Loud? it doesn't seem to effect the noise at all, there's no echo or anything since it's just screen.

oh, just a screen. that's cool. yeah i have heard there are bugs in the south and in places like florida. good idea to keep a covering over the pool.
