1st Playgroup

I guess this is a week of firsts! This morning we had 4 moms and 9 kids 2 years old and under. Three sets of twins and one set of triplets from the moms of multiples club I belong to. And my triplets and two of sets of the twins were born November 15, 16, and 17th respectively! So, in a way we had Septuplets! How crazy is that?!

The kids interacted really well. There was lots of pushing and toy and snack stealing but of course, that's normal :) I did notice a lot of the same behaviors in some of the other twins, pushing each other off their mom's lap! I experience a thousand times a day no matter how big my lap is. On the plus side, Rachel really seems to like the boys :) She gets right up to them and talks to them till they smile at her. She's working it! Strangely she seems most attraced to boys that are also blond. I have to laugh at her preference. So cute.

This isn't a close-up so you can't see that well but Connor was totally cheesing the camera - how funny is he! He and his twin brother Cole are one day older then my girls.

These are the oldest twins and the only boy/girl set:

Kristin and Reagan. Reagan's twin brother Keenan was Rachel's favorite - they are one day younger then my girls. Apparantly November 2006 was a VERY busy month for multiples everywhere :)

I think my girls had a lot of fun and I know they are looking forward to playing with all those twins again! Maybe someday they'll actually interact and play quietly with each other. Well, I can dream...

So, Rachel likes to flirt with blond boys? Sounds like trouble to me. Ha ha.

Looks like lots of fun. Maybe I'll drive across country and join you next time.

Ahh, my friend Kristin! She was my old neighber, have known her since way before she ever had Katie! I need to call her.
