My Dad's Birthday

Today is my dad's birthday. We had the party yesterday but since I had no card I decided to wait till today and hopefully this post will take its place (yes, I got him a gift - I just didn't realize we were having the party yesterday...). A very Happy Birthday to my Dad. I love you so much and I'm glad we got to be here for his special day :)

Here are some pictures from the party and from Memorial Day and from our first real full day here (Sunday was church):

Wondering how it's going here? The girls are cranky and not sleeping well. We are trying to adjust them to one nap a day and they aren't too happy about it. Kirk leaves in the morning and I'm really nervous. The girls like the pool and being outside just a bit too much which leads to massive screaming fits when they come inside. Hopefully they will adjust over the coming days and things will get easier. At least I'm hoping for that - I'll let you know!!

Hope the girls figure out the whole sleeping thing. Going to one nap was tough.

Happy Birthday Dorinda's Dad!!

Can't wait to see how the one nap goes. I'll be expecting pointers when you get them converted. We are still back to the 2 naps and loving it. I decided I'm going to wait for them to convert themselves. Does that ever happen?

Happy belated birthday to your dad! It is great that you got to be there. I hope the girls are able to adjust and soon. I can't wait for one nap a day but I am dreading the switch.

Glad you guys are enjoying some faimly time... especially for your dad's b-day.

Regarding your comment on my blog about Ella's dresses... fortunately my sister is the one with the Gap and Gymboree addiction!! She usually buys triple for Ella... that way Maggie, Kate, and Sarah can wear them next year. I am not a shopper at all, but I would love to learn how to recoup some of the clothing costs on ebay with the nicer things that the trio has outgrown. Is it pretty simple? Easy enough that you could email me directions?!?
